Vancouver FC secured a thrilling 2-1 win over Pacific FC in the Salish Sea Derby, coming from behind to take the lead. The match was played at the Stadium at Langley Events Centre on Sunday. Toomey managed to dance through a few defenders before slamming the ball into the top corner to make it 2-1. Vancouver FC heads into the World Cup break with three points and tied for fifth in the CPL table, having won back-to-back league games for the first time since last September. Their next home game is scheduled for Saturday, July 4 against Inter Toronto at 3 p.m.
